Custom Guitar by TYR Guitars

A beautiful custom guitar built by TYR Guitars, specifically for this event. The hand made guitar has been gifted the name "The Old Town".

Just like a memory of being down at the creek, playing with friends on a summer day, “The OldTown” is a flashback to a simpler time. When things were easy and life was simple. The guy got the girl and were it was happily ever after. It was rock and roll on the radio or maybe some country western. But no matter what...there was that bass, pulling you along and making you move.

Materials: Body: Mahogony and Maple: Neck: Maple Neck and Fingerboard; Pickups: Dual Wilkerson Jazz Bass; Electronics: 2 Volume Mini Pots, 1 Mini Tone Pot; Bridge: Fender Style Hardtail

About the Builder: Ty R. Bos is the owner/operator of Outlander Creative, an marketing & media company in Redding, California. He is also the creative mind and hands behind TYR Guitars. His love for building guitars started in high school, building his first guitar from scratch parts from friends. As TYR Guitars he rebuilds and replaces guitars & basses for kids who have lost them during fire season. He also builds guitars for various non-profits for auction/fundraising events as well. Each guitar is centered around a theme or special meaning, making each one very personal one of a kind piece. His last build currently resides with country artist Chad Bushnell.
